• All new x-ray machines must be inspected within 90 days of installation.

• Any x-ray machine that has moved locations or has had electrical components replaced must be re-inspected.

• Intraoral, panoramic, and cephlametric x-rays are to be inspected every 3 years.

• Handheld x-rays and CBCT x-rays are to be inspected every year.
